Brush Turkeys are common in Noosa, particularly in the National Park near the river mouth. In the breeding season they build large nests in a mound stripping the surrounding gardens of bark, mulch and loose soil in the process. At this time of the year they become the Resort Manager's enemy.
This little Magpie, pictured outside the office, has captured an insect for its dinner.
This charming, unidentified bird landed on the hanging basket on our balcony and sat among its leaves.
